Local Tips and Important Notes
- 1.Kent County sells pre-assembled divorce case packets for $20 cash at the Legal Assistance Center (5th floor, Suite 5100).
- 2.Credit cards are NOT accepted for civil filings. Bring cash, a personal check, or money order.
- 3.The FOC is in a separate building from the courthouse.
- 4.The County Clerk's office at 300 Monroe Ave NW is a different office. Divorce filings go to the Clerk of the Court at the courthouse.
